Small town, so Sumter has some nice areas and some bad. Sumter is mainly know as the retirement place for a lot of elderly or military vets. Many popular areas are great like the museum, restaurants, and theater. Traffic isn’t bad only when there are trains passing by will there be a traffic jam.
